We are very pleased to present the following 6-day course for Spring 2015:

HA489D Practical Building Conservation, April 13-18, Victoria, BC

Join co-instructors Gordon Macdonald and Ben Gourley on site at Coal Island to explore practical conservation techniques and put those skills into practice. Course content will encourage participants to develop a holistic approach to conservation in which materials and skills are considered within the context of the broader building traditions to which they belong. This six-day course will be delivered through site-based workshops where students will learn through a combination of practical exercises, lectures, cases studies and take-home reading material. http://www.uvcs.uvic.ca/Section/Studies-in-Building-Conservation-Practical-Building-Conservation/HA489D004-2015S-C02/49227/
