The Ottawa Historical Association is pleased to announce that its next regular lecture will be delivered by Professor Paul Litt on "The Mediated Politician: Cultural Change and Images of John Turner, 1962-1988."

The lecture will take place on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 7:30 pm in Room 2017, Dunton Tower, Carleton University, 101 Colonel By Drive. Please join us for a discussion and refreshments after the talk.

Dr. Paul Litt is an historian with both the Department of History and the Department of Canadian Studies at Carleton University. A graduate of the University of Toronto, Dr. Litt has published extensively on the theory and practice of public history in Canada. He is also the author of The Muses, the Masses, and the Massey Commission (1992) and Elusive Destiny: The Political Vocation of John Napier Turner (2011).
