Manitoba Social Sciences Teachers' Association

The Manitoba Social Sciences Teachers’ Association is made up of volunteer K-12 and university teachers who help current teachers and teacher candidates work towards mastery and promote social studies in our province. We hold an annual conference in October where we bring in a number of presenters to inspire, explain or host make-and-take sessions across the grade levels. We are available to sit down with our members to help them work through the curriculum and provide them with useful materials or links to other resources. We publish a quarterly journal and maintain a website to promote history, geography and social studies.
