1st. INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF HERITAGE AND CULTURAL LANDSCAPES IN HISPANIC AMERICA  

The socio-historical formation of cultural landscapes and heritage valuation: Perspectives and concepts.

In recent decades there has been an increasing discussion about the protection, assessment and conceptualization of cultural assets. One of the most important contributions to support such discussions is to  place heritage in its historical and territorial context. 

In this regard, the organizing committee is pleased to announce the Call of Papers for the 1st. International Congress of Heritage and Cultural Landscapes in Hispanic America to be held in the city of Zacatecas,18 to 21 of November 2014. This Congress is organized by the INAH, Universidad Autónoma de Zacatecas, UNESCO, Instituto Zacatecano de Cultura y El Colegio de San Luis.
