Emily Chicorli

Emily Chicorli is a MA student in the Masters of Archival Studies program in the School of Library, Archival and Information Studies at the University of British Columbia. Emily has a BA in History and Humanities, as well as a BEd from York University. She is interested in how archives can be used as educational resources in and out of the classroom. In addition, Emily is interested in how archives can engage students and youth to be critical and historical thinkers. She is working towards completing a thesis that will explore Canadian archives’ outreach programs that engage users from the elementary school level to the undergraduate level.
