Saskatchewan Archaeological Society's Museum/ArchaeoCaravan Project
The Saskatchewan Archaeological Society has developed a travelling workshop to engage and educate rural museum staff and volunteers about their archaeological collections – assisting them with identification, cataloguing and interpretation by having access to the Society's knowledge and resources. The Society also provides public education through the use of the ArchaeoCaravan, a mobile activity centre which aims to introduce students, teachers, community members and tourists to the early technologies, tools, types of communication, art, habitation and transportation of Canada’s earliest peoples.
