Abstract/Summary:

In this article the author discusses secondary and higher education courses focused on the history of the Jewish Holocaust, and presents his views on how such courses can be shaped in order to allow students to examine their ethical values without influence regarding the teacher's opinions on the subject. Particular focus is given to an examination of ways in which activism and political feelings may influence Holocaust education, as well as a discussion of the objective understanding of historical events.
