Hello. My name is Wendy Donnan, I am an instructional designer and television producer with 25 years + of experience. I have recently received a Canadian Studies Grant to develop a website for teachers at the grades 7,8 and 10 levels, History and Social Sciences, that deals with the use of espionage throughout Canada's history from the 1700s to present. Canada, the second largest country on the earth, owes its present borders and vast size to successful espionage operations through the last 250 years, yet Canadian history makes little mention of espionage. The Spies in the Shadows educational website will provide teachers and students with a way to integrate espionage into the current History curriculum, giving teachers and students an opportunity to participate in lessons, games, and other activities to enhance their classroom experience.I am looking for a way to reach teachers across Canada with this exciting website, and to receive feedback and information from interested parties.
