I have recently completed my undergraduate degree at Saint Mary's University where I majored in History (with Honours) and minored in Atlantic Canadian Studies. I will (hopefully) be returning to the same institution to obtain a Masters in Atlantic Canadian Studies after a year of maternity leave.
My primary area of interest is The Atlantic region, especially with regards to the "Age of Sail" and how it impacted and shaped the region. The history of the Acadians is also high on my list of interests, although my knowlegde base on the subject is, insofar, limited.
After my Masters, I hope to work at a museum and to eventually complete a PhD at some point.
