Valour Canada is a not-for-profit (inc. 1987) that was instrumental in funding, building and running Calgary's The Military Museums. Currently the organization is focused on connecting Canadians to their military heritage through a range of interesting and engaging programs. The society is a history and heritiage organisation of private citizens with not direct ties to the military but want Canadians to know and value the important role the Canadians forces have played in building this nation.
