As a graduate Student in the department of Archaeology at the University of Calgary, I am interested in the inland lifeways of the pre-contact indigenous peoples of Haida Gwaii / the Queen Charlotte Islands, BC. Having lived and worked as an archaeologist on these islands for 2 decades, I have an interest in giving back to my community and the broader academic community as well, by providing educational opportunities regarding archaeology on the islands.
