The Vimy Foundation launches 2017 campaign

The Centennial of the Battle of Vimy Ridge is closer than you think!

Help the Vimy Foundation build a legacy for Canadians and the world.

With the Centennial of the Battle of Vimy Ridge fewer than four years away, The Vimy Foundation is playing a leading role in building a new, state of the art Education Centre to be opened in France on April 9, 2017 on grounds adjacent to the Vimy Memorial. The Government of Canada recently committed $5 million to the project.

In 2012, The Bank of Canada, in partnership with the Vimy Foundation, launched the new polymer $20 bill which features an image of the iconic Canadian National Vimy Memorial. This Remembrance Week we are asking Canadians to Give a ‘VIMY’ for Vimy to help raise awareness and match funds for the new Education Centre.
