Seeking panel participants for CHA

Dear colleagues,

I'd like to organize a roundtable of journal editors (current and relatively recent past) for CHA 2015.

The roundtable will serve two purposes.  Consistent with the general theme of the annual meeting, "Rethinking interdisciplinarity in history," scholars who edit historical journals will compare their experiences with others who edit interdisciplinary journals (to which historians contribute regularly).  The second purpose will be to provide new scholars with a practical, behind-the-scenes understanding of the scholarly journal editorial process.

If you are a current or former editor (with relatively recent experience) and are interested in participating, please contact me directly at chapnick@cfc.dnd.ca.  In your note, please don't forget to let me know what journal you are editing / have edited.
