We are very excited at the BC Museums Association about our upcoming conference in New Westminster called Ebb & Flow: Navigating societal trends and expectations (Oct 25-27)

Not only do we have two illustrious keynotes- Dr. John Nightingale from the Vancouver Aquarium and Kathleen Bartels from the Vancouver Art Gallery- but we also have a jam-packed schedule that includes presentations and workshops on Cultural Diversity, Collaboration, Controversy and Skill-building- more than 40 sessions to choose from! I have attached the flier for your interest.

I am writing to remind you that late registration rates kick in at midnight next Friday, September 11. If you are thinking of attending the conference but haven’t quite gotten around to registering  I would encourage you to do so in the next week before the rates go up.

See you in New Westminster!

Theresa

P.S. Did you know? This year’s conference includes a NEW Owl’s Bookstore, historic walking tours of New Westminster’s waterfront, a Design Jam workshop and an Ask the Expert event that let you tap into free advice and guidance for your institution! Click here for more info.
