Dear colleagues,

We can look back on a very active and productive year. We are particularly delighted by the appointment of Hester Dibbits as the new professor in Historical Culture and Education, and by the successful PhD graduations of Pieter de Bruijn and Geerte Savenije. Very recently, we received the wonderful news about a large research grant on cultural heritage of war and popular culture.
Last but certainly not least, we welcome two other new members of the CHC: professor Franciska de Jong and Piet Hagenaars.

In this 16th edition of our digital newsletter you will find more information about upcoming events, and our activities in the last months.
Once again, I would like to thank many colleagues abroad and in the Netherlands for their intellectual and practical support.
