National Capital History Day 2014

After two years of planning and preparation, I am happy to report that the inaugural National Capital History Day was a smashing success. With nearly 300 students, 80 judges and dozens of teachers in attendance, the feedback we received on the big day, and that is continuing to flow in, is overwhelmingly positive. You can see a Storify of the day here, with tweets from the Mayor, Max Keeping, the U.S. Embassy, and many of the workshop leaders, teachers and students who took part.
