Interpretation II: Exhibitions - Request For Proposals

The Association of Nova Scotia Museums seeks proposals from qualified individuals to develop and present the Interpretation II: Exhibitions workshop module of its Museum Studies Program.

This course will explore the responsibilities, skills, policies and techniques involved in managing museums facilities.

Key content/subject areas:

    Use of different types of interpretive resources, including artifact, archival materials and intangible forms of heritage.
    The interpretive planning and exhibition development process
    Increasing interactivity in museums exhibitions
    New trends in museum exhibitions

The workshop is scheduled to be delivered April 25 & 26, 2013 at Fortress of Louisbourg. Closing date for proposals is February 8, 2013.
