100 More Canadian Heroines: Famous and Forgotten Faces by Merna Forster
I am pleased to announce that the book 100 More Canadian Heroines: Famous and Forgotten Faces has now been published and is available at bookstores across Canada. The publication features inspiring true stories of 100 great Canadians as well as compelling historical images and a foreword by astronaut Julie Payette.

While I wrote this book and my first book in the series for the general public, the publications seem to have been recognized as useful tools for teaching women's history. Since 2004, I have been managing an educational website that is visited by teachers and students as well as the general public: heroines.ca, A Guide to Women in Canadian History. I created this as a personal project and do everything myself, at my own expense: including research, design, scanning images, writing, doing all the coding.
