Free Online Museum Studies Course, starts Jan 18

The University of Leicester, in England, has re-opened registration for its hugely popular MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) in Museum Studies. Many of our readers were eager to sign-up after missing the first installment last June.

The introductory Museum Studies course will cover areas such as the purpose of museums; engaging new audiences; and the role museums can play in areas such as social justice, health and well-being. The course has been developed with the National Museums of Liverpool. The six week course requires two hours per week; registration is open now, and the course begins January 18, 2016.
