Describing Archives Using RAD, Oct 15

The Kelowna Museums Society will be hosting an Archives Association of British Columbia workshop on October 15_th from 9am to 4pm. The workshop, Describing Archives Using RAD, is a one day workshop that will refresh participants with the unique peculiarities of archival arrangement before delving into the finer details of writing a multi-level description using the Canadian standard Rules for Archival Description. This will be a wonderful opportunity to brush up on archival descriptions skills and standards for all of us who work in Archives, Museums, Libraries or Galleries.

Please register with the AABC by October 1_st. Registration is limited to 20 participants. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Prepare to have all your tricky description and arrangement questions, conundrums and quandaries solved!
