The Vernon Museum & the Family History Society are teaming up again to offer Pleasant Valley Cemetery Tours. Saturday September 20th is the date to mark on your calendar. There will be two options; a Cemetery Walking Tour from 9:30am-11:30am followed by a light lunch or a Cemetery Tour from 1:00pm-3:00pm followed by afternoon tea. The lunch and tea will both be hosted at the museum. Local political figures, the Okanagan Hotel Fire victims and the Internment Camp detainees will be among the dozen or so tour guide Lawrna Myers of the Family History Society will be touching on during the approximately two hour walking tour. More information about the characters mentioned will also be on display at the museum during the lunch and tea.
 
Tickets are $20.00/person with a limit of 20 participants per tour. To avoid disappointment you’re strongly encouraged to purchase tickets early. Tickets are only available at the museum and will not be available on the event date.
